Mr. Bill arrived c. 01.00 from a standing-on-the-tarmac- for-over-two-hours departure into London. We all left c. 09.03 for a treat: Toyah took us to visit Dunhill’s at their Mayfair Home for breakfast with a pal who works in the main office.

To enter Dunhill’s is to enter a world of the super rich, and a kind of quiet that seems to accompany wealth. A wonderful breakfast, a visit to the humidor, a tour of the shop to inspect stunning clothes and signature items. Quite breathtaking for a man of humble origins from Dorset.

Leaving c. 11.20 to drop Bill off at Terminal Five for a modest-travelling experience back to Seattle and onto Canterbury. Checking in at 13.40 and onto the High Street I…
